High-Level Project Summary
There is an enormous amount of available information about space provided by NASA. However, many times its diffusion is not the optimum, and that's why other options need to be explored. Our proposal consists in a tool that lets the user create a new image based on NASA's daily image, adding their own creative touch. This is done by using DALL E. Have you ever imagine a monkey playing basketball in space? This is possible thanks to Space Art. It's a tool made for everyone, easy to use and free that allows NASA images to be closer to everyone, while increasing people's creativity.

Detailed Project Description
Our project consists of a tool that allows the user to create a new imagen based on NASA's image of the day adding their own creative touch, by using DALL E.
By accessing NASA's database, and using the user's creativity, after entering a brief text, a new space image is obtained.
Even though the tool is aimed for the general public (there's no prior knowledge required to use it), its application in kids an young people is specially interesting, since it can increase their interest in science in creative ways, added to the fact that it's user-friendly.
In the future, we plan on make a segmentation, showing users different results depending on their age and geographical location. At the time, you can only get different results by changing de art style in the input text.
The application was developed in Python and uses modules that allow its interaction thanks to an user interface y the use APIs that proccess and download the images. The workflow starts with the download of NASA's image of the day through the connection with the corresponding API. After that, the user must write some text describing how they wish to edit the original image. This description will be used to proccess the original image by the API that establishes the connection with DALL E.
After that, the final images are downloaded and shown in the graphic interface, which also shows the original imagen and a description.

Hackathon Journey
This year we decided to compete virtually in Rosario, creating a diverse group. We are students and professionals from different provinces and countries, but we are located in Bariloche, Buenos Aires and Mendoza. Our fields are electronics engineering, physics, mechatronic engineering, finance and law. Once again, it was a challenge having to work from different cities but we overcame all the connectivity problems we had.
The team was very interesting: some of us met in other hackatons, and some others at the Centro Atómico Bariloche, but we all share the same love for problem-solving and space.
We chose this challenge because we found it to be novel and a bit different from the problems we solve everyday in our jobs.
