High-Level Project Summary
As team B5 we chose the challenge "HOW DOES CLIMATE CHANGE AFFECT YOU?" this challenge is about the effects of climate change on us and our environment. As a team we found a proper spot and started recording our video. In our video, four of our friends talked about events that really happened to them at different times. None of what we're talking about is fiction and all of them actually happened. While we were forming our team, we took care to choose experienced people. The purpose of choosing experienced friends is to impress people more and to make our video like a short documentary. In addition, our friends did not needed to act because they really experienced these situations.

Detailed Project Description
Our project first starts with a close-up of the grass and then zooms out to show the sky and the thousands. Our aim here is to show the conflict and problems that natural life and urban life experience in each other. Grass is a metaphor for natural life , while a tall building symbolizes the urban life created by humans. While these are happening, a friend of ours talks about the general effects of climate change. After this scene ends, the screen gradually darkens and our friends who have been in some events (forest fire, flood, drought, extreme heat) due to the effects of climate change talk about their experiences and say that they have never seen such things before. It should not be forgotten that our friends really experienced these situations. After four of our friends tell what they went through, the screen goes black again and satellite photos of some regions on earth are shown as before/after. The destruction caused by forest fires, droughts and floods can be seen clearly in the photographs. After that our video ends. We have no benefit from this video, our video is only educational and informative. It shows people how devastating climate change actually is and that we are all struggling with these effects one-on-one. Our friends did not engage in any unethical behavior while describing their experiences. No political or financial purpose was considered while shooting the video. While we were recording our video, we had to use a mobile phone because we did not have a budget, and for this reason, the image quality was not at the level we wanted. We uploaded our video to Youtube to make it available to everyone, and the video quality automatically dropped a bit more along the way.We prepared our demo as a slide, and we used Microsoft Powerpoint in this process. We sang our slide and uploaded it to Youtube so that it can be accessed by everyone. Our demo is a introduction for our main project.
Space Agency Data
In the challenge we chose as a team, we benefited a lot from the links shared by NASA in the "resources" section. Some links, for example "NASA Images of Change" and "Global Climate Change", contained exactly the information we were looking for and all the scientific data we used in our video were taken from these two resources.
Hackathon Journey
As a team, we had intended to participate in this organization last year, but due to some health problems, our project was not completed and we could not apply. We had the chance to participate this year and it was really exciting for us because it was the first time we had the chance to compete in such a big organization. In this organization, we learned how difficult it is to communicate within the team and how important sacrifice is because some of our friends gave up their exams and sports competitions to record our video. Our team leader was at the school's film club last year and had experience in making videos/films. That's why we chose the "HOW DOES CLIMATE CHANGE AFFECT YOU?" challenge and made a call at the school to find some people who have experienced the impact of climate change and formed our team as a result of the applications received. While developing this project, we took care not to make any social calls because social calls are considered out of rules. We did not include any social calls in our project, as we do not find this ethical in any way.The most difficult thing was to find a suitable location and to find filming equipment. We couldn't shoot with a professional camera because we didn't have the budget, so we used a phone camera. We would like to thank our school principal for giving us space, our biology teacher who always answered our questions, and Mr. Ferdi Çelik, who helped everyone on the Discord server.
