High-Level Project Summary
We have developed a new intellectual method in spreading environmental awareness among individuals to contribute to reducing pollutants that have impacts on climate change. It was presented in a simplified way in a video explaining the causes of climate change and its effects on society. Project Idea:
It is a study of the current situation of the problem of climate change globally and the extent of its impact on Egypt, and finding ways to solve these problems as individuals and the extent of their impact on our society.
Burying our heads in the sand can be one way to avoid the anxiety that accompanies climate change. But does this concern accompany all people? Certainly the answer will be no. Therefore, we thought of creating an application for mobile phones aimed at several stages, including the first stage, which aims to provide this group who are ignorant of the extent of the impact of climate change on them the social values that aim to preserve their environment from deterioration and the loss of their jobs. The second stage, which in turn will help this category to live in a society in which a climate suitable for their living conditions prevails, and not to expose them to potential dangers in the near future.
This system will take place in several stages, including spreading awareness of this category and making them help their communities as individuals in solving the problem of climate change.
The first steps of this stage will be to spread awareness through an educational platform on social networking sites, especially YouTube, given that the number of its users reaches 46.3 million users in Egypt, in addition to our educational platform through our mobile application. The second stage will be to deliver our services to this category by making them invest in their homes. And when you invest in your home, the solutions that you will provide to serve climate change are the tip of the iceberg that the media have mentioned (such as saving electricity - cycling - and recycling), but we came to a solution by adding a new path to our mobile application by making them participate in Grow agricultural plants such as fruits, vegetables or trees in their homes and the cultivation will be done with agricultural guidelines that will be added to the application.
