Climate Change: The Future Extinction of Man Kind

High-Level Project Summary

Climate change has been over 1 century and still is a global problem. Climate change is not a myth it is happening right here it is happening right now, and if we don't take a positive footprint on Earth, it’s going to contribute to every living being’s extinction. Curbing climate change is a must, so why not follow some sustainable actions, such as the 3 Rs?

Detailed Project Description

our project can make a sustainable world in the future and raise awareness if our presentation will reach out to people in Lebanon and more. reducing climate change – involves reducing the flow of heat-trapping greenhouse gases into the atmosphere, either by reducing sources of these gases (for example, the burning of fossil fuels for electricity, heat, or transport) or enhancing the “sinks” that accumulate and store these gases. There are a number of benefits that can result from taking action to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and adapt to climate change, including: Improvements to individual and public health due to more active lifestyles, cleaner air, and improved water and soil quality. Climate action works, and evidence of it can be seen in the elimination of several gigatons of emissions per year.

This data provided critical information for our presentation and helped us understand the causes of climate change and how it can affect us.

Hackathon Journey

As middle schoolers (12 years old), it’s way tough to take part in an event wherein most of the groups and competitors are older. It’s our first SpaceApps and we had been pressured due to the fact that most of the teams had been adults. However, what cooled us off is that we noticed the distinct versions in the ages of the groups. And I suppose that this is the incredible element in the hackathons and the way the groups consist of various ages and genders in which all of them brainstorm their ideas and solutions to resolve global complications. For fellow middle schoolers around the world taking part in SpaceApps or some other event, it’s not your age it’s your brains that matter.
