High-Level Project Summary
Our main objective of this challenge is to make a brief visual work that highlights our experience with climate change and the objective truth about in Lebanon. Through this video, the targeted audience will be provided scientifically accurate information about this global crisis in a non-traditional approach. As a Lebanese team, we are focusing on our personal experiences and the consequences of global warming on a personal scale. The importance of this project is its new and creative approach to this global problem that it easy for all types of audience to understand and raises awareness about the extent of impact of this underlying problem on humanity and societies.

Detailed Project Description
Our team Climaticos, developed a brief video to introduce a global crisis that is very well spread but not well known. Most people have heard of climate change but don't actually know what its consequences are or how exactly does it affect them. The video we developed is a brief guide that targets all types of audience and introduces global warming in a new non-traditional approach that is easy for everyone to understand and relate to. Moreover, our video highlights the impact of global warming on the Lebanese ecological system. Through this video, we hope to provide an informative source that is based on accurate scientific information and studies provided by the space agencies and open sources. To create this video, used an online video editor in addition to images taken from multiple crowd sources that are open source online. These pics highlight the severe consequences in Lebanon or worldwide.
Space Agency Data
We have used NASA's open source image libraries to get access to many photos and clips used in the video. In addition, we used the space agencies data in order to extend our understanding of the global climate crisis so we could properly educate people about it.
Hackathon Journey
Although my teammate and I were late to join the challenge, this hackathon taught us some valuable lessons that we would like to share. The hackathon taught how not to give up and to utilize the time that we have to come up with the best of what we can. It showed us that no matter how much you think you know, you always have more to learn. Through this challenge, we discovered the real impact of global warming on our planet earth and especially on our home country Lebanon, where even the most basic measures to protect the environment are not present. As individuals that are very active in the community and seek change in a corrupted society, we got inspired by this challenge to raise our voice and reach the international community to portray how in a country like Lebanon, global warming is taking its toll on millions of people in its most severe forms due to the lack of authority. For that sake, we decided to showcase these effects by documenting the ongoing ecological crisis in our country using a collection of interesting and informative videos. and lastly, we would like to thank NASA space apps for offering us our own space to share our voice in a country with no such space. and our Local Lead and the local GO team for providing the most excellent support and help.
