Detailed Project Description
Hello! We are the "Eclypse" team from Burgas, Bulgaria. Burgas is our hometown. It is located in the southern part of the Bulgarian Black Sea. It is a lively and colorful city, it provides opportunities for the development of young and old. An active city with smart people.
Our team consists of 4 people. Niya Obretenova, Sofia Diomova, Victoriya Chaikova and Toniya Hlebarova, all 15 years old. We are 9th grade students at the "Georgi S. Rakovski" high school for Romance languages. We decided to form this team because we are not only classmates, but also very close friends. We have known each other for a long time and we trust each other. Each of us has unique qualities and knows how to work in a team. Together we make a great team. Niya is good at public speaking and is always there for us when we are in trouble. Vicky is thorough and understanding. Her lively mind inspires us with her fresh ideas. Sophie is always ready to lend a hand and help with anything she can, she is charismatic and always cheers us up. Toni is dedicated and always keeps her promises. She's organized and always keeps things moving.
We made this team because all four of us wanted to enter one of the NASA Space Apps challenges. When our teacher - Vilyana Ruseva, a professor of entrepreneurship at Burgas Free University and at our high school, informed us about this event, we all felt great interest in it and immediately wanted to get involved. With her recommendations, we were able to prepare an amazing project on climate change. We decided to do a project on this topic because it directly affects each of us. From early childhood, each of us is interested and wants to help our planet. Since middle school, we have been constantly involved in projects to promote the problem of environmental protection and its solution. We organize events where we present various projects on the topic.
We want to show others how important it is to change and save our planet, so that not only we, but also our descendants can enjoy its beauty. Our goal is to do our best to reach young and old and touch their hearts, make them understand how important it is to act and take care of our planet as it takes care of us.
We want to show the community that through small changes in our daily lives, we can make drastic changes. It only takes one match to start a fire. Starting from one person's heart, we are going to make it burn in all of them.
Our project consists of video - photos matching the topic we are talking about, taught and made easy to understand by all age groups. When presenting the project, we also used the attached presentation.
