High-Level Project Summary
In general, we worked to spread awareness among children about the problem of climate change, its causes, consequences, and how to overcome it. firstly, we have chosen a waste bin to do that as bins are found everywhere. We changed the familiar structure of the bins by attaching water tanks outside the basket. Some plants were put in a box and the box was also fixed outside the basket. The method will be used is that when someone throws rubbish in the basket, the plants will be automatically watered by using a water pump. Therefore, when a child observes that, he will neurologically identify the importance of planting to eradicate carbon dioxide concentrations released int the atmosphere.

Detailed Project Description
Have you ever considered that 85% of the world's population resides in climate change-affected regions? And what are the risks related to climate change? Any long-term change in regional or global average weather patterns is remarked as global climate change. warming, the primary reason for temperature change, is causing temperatures to rise as a result of greenhouse gases trapping more heat within the atmosphere. More frequent and severe droughts, hurricanes heat waves, rising sea levels, melting glaciers, and warmer oceans are just some of the disasters
brought on by temperature change that may directly kill animals, destroy their habitats, and create.
Our mission in this challenge is to spread awareness of the issue of climate change through creative work, and therefore we found that the best solution that can contribute greatly to spreading awareness of the issue of climate change is to help and educate future and young generations not only to identify the problem and its consequences but to work on solving it themselves. So, we worked to create a smart wastebasket that consists of three basic parts, which are (a small water tank, a basket with plants, and a wastebasket). The wastebasket operates as follows:
When the basket is opened to throw waste harmful to the environment, the plant is
automatically watered. The process of visual feeding of children is carried out and their minds are connected to the fact that the process of preserving the environment from waste will preserve the life of plants from dying of drought, as the phrase “dispose of waste so that plants do not die” will be placed.
In summary, we can say that the earth is susceptible to destruction by climate change. Therefore, all nations are now taking action to help the planet cope with climate disruptions. The most useful solution to climate change is for human activity to help the planet rather than destroy it. Furthermore, planting trees is so crucial action as it reduces carbon dioxide emissions and keeps the air clean for people to breathe. Smart Waste Bin is a creative innovation that helps people learn the importance of trees in our lives. People will grow more aware of global climate issues and plant more plants. Children and adults will easily come up with the idea of planting trees because of the smart waste bin. That is our concern exactly.
Space Agency Data
We used NASA Space apps website to know more information about climate change and use the website's visuals that helped us know the ratios and the concentrations.
Hackathon Journey
The Hackathon journey was enjoyable as we did hard work that spent about 42 hours, which helped to improve our leadership, presentation, and publication skills. We are affected by the climate change challenge as it's Egypt's vision in 2030 and one of the most crucial SDGs. Firstly, we want to thank God for getting first place in Alex hackathon. We also want to thank AAST in Egypt for supporting us.
