High-Level Project Summary
How does climate change affect you?Global warming is the increase in the global average temperature due to the intensification of the greenhouse effect that negatively affects our health, food production and its high prices, and especially the ecosystem balance.Considering this, we have developed an app with valuable information and tips so that anyone can help reducing the carbon footprint in our planet.

Detailed Project Description
How do climatic changes affect you?
Global warming is the increase in global average temperature due to the intensification of the
greenhouse effect, caused by the emission of gases into the atmosphere, as well as
carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide, chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs), and water vapors.
With the increase in industrial activities since 1.750, the levels of atmospheric carbon dioxide
increased almost 50% due to human activities. Furthermore, the rise in CO2,
methane and nitrous oxide throughout the industrial era is due to human activities are the
main reasons for changes observed in the atmosphere, ocean, cryosphere, and biosphere
according to the Sixth Assessment Report of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change
composed of scientific experts.
According to NASA's climate website, the global temperature has increased by 1.01ÂșC since
1.880. The sea level has also increased by 4 inches since January 1.993.
The current ratio is 419 parts per million CO2, a significant increase compared to 2005 (previously 378.37).
Life on Earth depends on the energy coming from the Sun. About half of the light energy that
reaches the Earth's atmosphere passes through the air and clouds to the surface, where it is
absorbed and radiated as infrared heat. About 90% of this heat is then absorbed by
greenhouse gases and re-irradiated, decreasing heat loss into space.
Proposal for intervention:
To try to raise awareness of the population, we developed an app called SIRBER that brings
information on how to reduce the carbon footprint on our planet, with simple and easy tips for
anyone can contribute to these high rates of being able to stabilize.
Space Agency Data
According to the Global Climate Change website (https://climate.nasa.gov), carbon dioxide in the air is currently at 419 parts per million, and temperature has increased globally 1.01 since 1880.
Hackathon Journey
After we formed the team on Friday (09/30/2022), we chose the theme Climate Change and started developing an application for the level of used oil collection in real time. Despite many compliments, we could realize that it differed from the theme, so we remade the whole project SIRBER using an informative, educational, and awareness APP on climate change affects our lives and the world.
