High-Level Project Summary

An explainer video was developed to make people aware of how climate change affects our lives.in a series of short videos accessible to everyone and in simple language that even a child could understand.the proposal is that it can be watched in different languages of the world.It is important because it alerts people to the consequences of these problems and how they directly affect their lives.

Detailed Project Description

Hello! I’m Skill, today I will explain how climate change affects our lives. Climate change is caused by global warming ad with that brings many problems:

1. Economic sectors: The food production sector needs rain for the plant growth process and with climate change it rains little and affects these plantations, with this farmers sell the most expensive food to merchants, ho without any other option sell more expensive for the end consumer.

Energy sector: Hydroelectric plants are also affected by climate change, because they also depend on rains, if it doesn’t rain, there is no water to supply the plants and coelba has to invest in other, more expensive energies and then it weighs even more on the consumer’s pocket.

2. Flooding, inundations and landslides: as mentioned before, in Salvador it rains little but when this rain accumulates, some houses in Salvador do not have the structure to withstand the force of the rain, consequently several landslide and floods occur.

The global also occasional melting of glaciers thus raising the sea level as Salvador is a land mass surround by water, in about 80 years Salvador will be an almost flooded.

3. Forest fires: lately, many forest fires have been reported the newspapers, mostly because of the very hot and dry climate that is also a consequence of climate change.

4. Acid rain: in addition to CO2, there is also the emission of SO2 into the atmosphere, which, when acid rain grows, affects the environment in several ways: it interferes with reproduction and tat of plants, affecting the pH of river water, thus harming, fish population growth, among other problems.

Inspiring, because even not winning or being one of the 10 places I gain experience and knowledge. I learned to persist even when I understand that I can be overwhelmed. Because of our affiliation with our previous project, we would like to make an explainer video so that others can better understand the depth of this issue. persisting and doing more than possible to achieve our goal.
