High-Level Project Summary
This video depicts climate change and its effects on everyone - from land to sea, and forests to farms. In a scientific and easy-to-comprehend manner, it explains climate change in the easiest yet most emotive words. Using immersive clips and impactful text, it reveals the graveness of the issue. We believe climate change is the product of human carelessness. We want to spread the message, and inspire the denizens of the planet to take action. If we don't battle it now, tomorrow might be our last.

Detailed Project Description
This video depicts climate change and its effects on everyone - from land to sea, and forests to farms.
In a scientific and easy-to-comprehend manner, it explains climate change in the easiest yet most emotive words. Using immersive clips and impactful text, it reveals the graveness of the issue.
We believe climate change is the product of human carelessness. We want to spread the message, and inspire the denizens of the planet to take action. If we don't battle it now, tomorrow might be our last.
Global climate change is not a future problem. Changes to Earth’s climate driven by increased human emissions of heat-trapping greenhouse gases are already having widespread effects on the environment: glaciers and ice sheets are shrinking, river and lake ice is breaking up earlier, plant and animal geographic ranges are shifting, lakes are facing eutrophication (which means an overgrowth of algae which block sunlight from reaching the pond's water below the surface which kills fish and underwater life), and plants and trees are blooming sooner.
Space Agency Data
We used open data from NASA, which inspired us to reach for greater heights.
Some of the information is based on the data collected during our visit to The California Academy of sciences.
Thank you exponentially, NASA, for hosting such a wonderful event as a platform for the skills of the future inventors of the world(s?)
You inspire us to aim for the stars - literally - and we're grateful for you - pioneering in science.

Hackathon Journey
We came to learn about the Space Apps Hackathon a few weeks ago in school, and we were excited upon this novel competition. It was from NASA, who we idolized, and we quickly made a team and started working. Trust us, it did NOT go very smoothly at the beginning. We conflicted over the video's design and at times, we debated over the information, solutions, and even music. With so many minds a-buzzing, we couldn't agree with each other. But near the end, it was all worth it - We value the journey over all.
It's an honor to participate in this competition, and during the research, we learnt many things - not only about science and this topic - but also about our friends and ourselves.
We understood the value of teamwork, which can move mountains, and even though we had some ups and downs, the journey was spectacular.
