High-Level Project Summary
Our team has made a video on how climate change personally affects us. As per the objective the video is approximately 3 mins long. It is divided into 3 parts by again keeping the objective of the challenge in mind and focusing more upon how does it affect us personally? What is climate change? And finally Why it matters to us? We believe that climate change is not just a burning issue for us but it is a problem for the entire world. The video is important as it communicates with the audience about the climate change with scientific facts and information making them more aware about it. It will not just help people locally but can also be used across the globe

Detailed Project Description
The video provides the audience with scientific facts and information related to climate change making them more aware about it.
Our video is divided into three parts. The first part is about how the climate change personally affects us? In this part we have taken the clips from different news channels and headlines from different news sources showing you the affects of climate change around us. Due to the objective constrain to keep the video under 3 mins we didn't went into the depth of those news but the headlines are more than enough to give you in-depth information in less time.
In the next section, we have talked about what climate change actually means. We have used the NASA website to get scientific facts and information related to climate change for this section and tried to present it in simple as well as creative way.
Then in the last section, we have talked about why it matters to us? In this section we have taken the clips of various destruction that climate change have caused in our area and along with that a few clips of some people who have been a victim to these calamities. We wanted their stories to reach to our audience and make them aware about what ignoring climate change can really cost us.
Our video is not only useful for the local audience to get to know exactly what effects climate change has in their area and on them personally but it can also be used by audience all across the globe to learn more about climate change.
We are trying to make people as much aware as they can be about climate change itself and eventually about the affects of climate change and what can happen if we don't take any action.
We have used a software called 'lightworks' for editing the various clips and 'VSDC' for adding animations and effects in our video . Along with this we have used Google and YouTube to get news clips and headlines and finally the NASA website to get the scientific facts and information about climate change and a few of the headlines.

We have used the data available on the NASA website 'climate.nasa.gov ' about what climate change actually is and some scientific facts and information about it. We have also used some headline for the their site in our video.
Hackathon Journey
It been a really wonderful experience. Just being in the presence of so many creative and innovative people is a different feeling in itself. We have enjoyed every second of the competition.
It is amazing how many things we have learnt in just these 2 days to state some we learnt how to manage any crisis that arises during the project. We learnt how to better coordinate with each other as a team. We have learnt how to have that never give up attitude no matter how frustrating it gets to try again and again.
We often see around ourselves that every other day or so how climate change makes some unfortunate life it's victim. Our main goal, when we took this topic was to provide our audience with scientific facts and information about climate change in simple and easy way to make them more and more aware about it so that we can reduce the number of people we loose every year because of climate change.

Apart from that we took some open source clips, headlines and audios from YouTube and Google.
We used 'lightworks' app for video editing and 'VSDC' app for adding animation and effects to the video and 'clideo' website for creating the subtitles.
