Creating A Public Informative Video About Climate Change

High-Level Project Summary

Climate change is one of the most significant problem nowadays. Everyone is familiar with this concept but a small fraction of them take action .So , this is the part that we want to draw attention to it, opening people's eyes to what's going on around them and saving the future by starting individually and coming to a collective form. Because the situation is getting serious second by second.People hear or see a lot of various information about climate change from news, internet or advertisements and also sometimes it could be distractive. Therefore we wanted to explain to people what does climate change really mean scientifically and enable them to reconcile it with their daily life.

Detailed Project Description

Our project was about creating awareness of climate change. We created a demo and a main video about this topic. In our videos mainly, we talked about what climate change is, what its effects are, what can be done to stop it. Our videos convince people with arguments and proofs of the damages that climate change has already given to earth, and what might happen if it is not stopped. In this project, we are aiming to open people’s minds and end their prejudices. We organized our team to find information, scan sources, choosing visuals, video design, speaking with mentors, getting feedback, vocalizing the videos and editing from the backstage. We used Canva and YouCut programs for creating and developing our project.

Space Agency Data

We used data from NASA (https://climate.nasa.gov/ )for information about climate change and also for the graphs. For example, we used datas, we used titles and written informations below titles.

Hackathon Journey

I think we did a very good job in Space Apps Applications. We were all able to improve ourselves both individually and in teamwork. We chose our challenge as "How Does Climate Change Affect You? ". There is more than one reason why we chose this topic, but the main reason is that the state of the world right now is about to turn into a pathetic situation. While developing this project, we were aware that the most important and most effective step that can be taken to improve the world starts with the informing public. I think we completed the process smoothly and very well, and we thank all our coaches who helped us.
