High-Level Project Summary

The lack of proper treatment of organic materials is a global problem. In addition to the need to create policies to stop avoidable waste along the chain, it is necessary to face the fact that organic waste will never cease to exist. are food remains that are improperly disposed of, overloading sanitary landfills, which can cause several environmental and public health problems. Based on this problem, we developed JMBIO BRAZIL, which are fully recycled and Compact Biodigesters that carry out the treatment of organic solid waste.

The JMBIO digester is basically composed of totally recycled materials, which has the differential of producing fertilizer and natural fertilizer together, in addition to being fully automated.

The use of the biodigester also presents many positive points for the environment, because, through the treatment of waste, it contributes to the reduction of pollution. In addition, the by-products resulting from the biodigestion processes generate positive impacts on the environment. The biodigestion process in a biodigester generates two products: biofertilizer and biogas that can be used to generate energy and renewable fuel.

Biogas is about 60% methane gas, which is a high-calorie fuel and can be used for energy production, cooking, electricity generation (gas turbines), engine operation or heating. The biofertilizers resulting from the biodigesters are obtained in the state (biosol) and liquid (biol) with high levels of macro and micronutrients, excellent for accelerating plant growth.

It can be implemented in schools, NGOs, restaurants, farms, cities and food industries, that is, anywhere that produces organic waste.

Animal manure must be used according to the dimensions of the containers (i.e. in the case of a 20 l, 18 or 17 l container of the mixture in proportions of 50% manure and 50% water are prescribed) for the first time. Animal manure must be used later in any biological waste that may include plant waste; Dried manure, dry leaves or even paper can be used. But considering that it must be mixed in a proportion of 50% with water and shaken well.

The JMBIO through small adaptations and research can be applied at Lunar headquarters. We chose to do the project “not because it is easy but because it is difficult” we are breaking the imaginable frontier with the objective of raising awareness and preserving humanity and Planet Earth.
