Аccessible space information for all

High-Level Project Summary

We are going to develop a site that is going to have summaries over information from the space agencies written in a easy to understand way. Other thing that we want to include in our project is the simulation over the different possible scenarios (The different polution levels over the years). We think that people have interest in this topics but they are unavailable to them because of language barriers and special terminology. We are going to provide the information to the public in an easy and user Friendly way.

Detailed Project Description

We are going to make a site that is going to share information from all of the space agencies. The information is going to be written in a accessible way for the general public. The site is going to have a topic for the future missions (cleaning missions and different space exploration missions). The site is going to have different pages for different research topics at the bottom of the page is going to share from which agencies the information is from and have the link to the article. We are thinking about showing the journey of the Parker Solar Probe in different environment (the debris between the years 1960 until 2020) we are planning how the agencies are looking for potencial threats (meteors, debris).

Space Agency Data

We`ve used the information for the number and size of the space debris from the NASA mission page, we used the sorce directly quoting the direct data percentages collected by the space agencies. We found different ideas for a space craft that is going to fight the problem directly. The ideas were ESA`s ClearSpace-1, The Airbus Stevenage the main RemoveDEBRIS spacecraft, Astroscale ELSA-d spacecraft .

Hackathon Journey

We`ve learned that there is a lot of information connected with the topic however the information need to be filterred in a more accessible way. We chose this challenge because we found a way to explain a problem regarding our future and how if we don`t take the right things we may face a potentualy dangerous future unable to leave our planet. We separated in 3 roles Designer, content creator and writer. When we found a dead end we got together to find solution to that problem.
