High-Level Project Summary
We are strengthening the connection between people, space and NASA. Humanity is very curious about space, but they do not seek to connect with the information generated by NASA precisely because they find it complex and because they have a very tiring routine, but all humans are constantly connected to the internet. That's how NASA space connect was born, a platform that will bring knowledge to people through quizzes and knowledge pills that are elaborated through the information generated by NASA. The platform aims to create a connected ecosystem where the most engaged people will earn coins and be able to experience NASA and going beyond it will target space and NASA in the metaverse.

Detailed Project Description
Nasa Space Connect is a web and mobile platform that brings knowledge to people. In an intuitive and practical way, the initial idea is to create quizzes that will bring knowledge about the sun and space weather, the information will be collected through NASA's main sources of information. Will it also take the form of an ecosystem, where people will be able to connect, share information and questions, tag others, chat with others, and even connect with NASA, astronauts and scientists.
All this engagement will be rewarded, the people with the most energy on the platform will receive the “spacecoins” coins that will be able to return gifts to people, unlock other trails of knowledge and who knows, visit NASA, meet a rocket.
This is how the “spacesers” are born, fanatical people that we are connecting to space and NASA. And finally, NASA space connect will be responsible for creating space in the metaverse. Can you imagine being aboard the space probe “Parker Solar Probe”? How can you visit NASA facilities and be aboard a rocket launch? The NASA connect space brings as a differential this connection with people, the possibility of bringing knowledge with easy-to-understand languages and which aims to bring experiences and immersions in the NASA ecosystem.
The initial solution was developed using “no code”, the initial platform was made via canvas so we could prototype the idea and put it on the air to test, additional elements like connecting people and creating the metaverse still need to be implemented. The entire development went through a design thinking process to identify the target audience, an interest survey was carried out and then we refined the ideas and platform model.
Space Agency Data
Data and information from all resources released within the challenge were used, a priori we did not develop an automatic information capture system, we put it manually according to our understanding of the readings.
The data and information collected for the platform quizzes came from the Solar Dynamics Observatory (SDO), Science @ Nada: The Sun, NASA Scientifica Visualization Studio (SVS), NASA Community Coordinated Modeling Center (CCMC), Parker Solar Probe Science Gateway and The Advanced Composition Explorer (ACE).
In addition to this data, we have planned and thought of running NLP algorithms to search on social networks (twitter, facebook and etc.) what people have been saying about space, space weather, NASA to generate more information and also attract people to engage in the platform.
Hackathon Journey
The Hackathon was spectacular for our team. We are from tech and we really like to connect with these themes, we all really like space, technology, engineering and being at this event made us connect even more with this world, with space and with the immensity of information and study that exist over space. Our team did a lot of research, applied agile methodology (design thinking) to develop and come up with a creative idea and solution, but that meets a need of humanity.
