INTERACTIVE EARTH DATA ANALYSIS APPLICATION IN 3D

High-Level Project Summary

It's a program with some added capabilities like export and custom shaders that aid in visualizing the data on an interactive 3D globe.Application: Encourage and assist researchers in visualizing data so they may quickly identify patterns for use in making predictions about the future.By offering an interactive tool instead of a large data set to understand difficult subjects simply, you can aid in the development of the education industry.

Detailed Project Description

Challange:

The challenge is to improve an existing NASA space app or open-source earth data visualization application by adding some earth data analysis features to it.

The Project and what it does:

It is going to provide the data visualization on the very platform. Users will be able to filter the data as per their requirements like (category, years , months, days). Users will be able to compare the different datasets at different parameters at the same time. They will be able to export the visualized data indivisually as well as multiple sets in one file.

How does it work:

When a user gives a request to visualize the data at a given parameter, the server will fetch the live or stored data and give the output. Here the user can analyze and change the parameters if needed.

After the user gets the data that was needed, they can export the data.

Benefits:

Thus, users will be able to analyze different sets of data at the same time, which will improve accuracy and save valuable time that was going to be wasted on downloading individual datasets and then analyzing them again and again.

want to achieve:

By developing this program, we want to improve the productivity and save the time of scholars and researchers .

Tools:

HTML, CSS, JavaScript

Three.js is the library we have used to construct and visualize a 3D globe.

Space Agency Data

We have used NASA's earth observatory data resources. We have included the shaders manually. It inspired us to visualize the data in 3D form as well, making our model interactive. We can also use some numerical data, but we wanted to make the project 3D interactive. That's why we chose NAS's earth observatory site to use that data.

Hackathon Journey

we had an amazing journey during this project
