Exploring venus together

High-Level Project Summary

Our project is characterized by using a battery that lasts 60 days, we chose supercapacitors because today it generates more energy than a normal battery and does not pollute.

Detailed Project Description

This project was dedicated to the problems of the environment on the planet venus and how we can meet the challenges

With the proposed challenge we devised a way to generate enough energy to keep our rover fed for at least 60 days using plates with the same functioning as Peltier plates and in this way we can generate energy with the heat of the environment that the rover has. planet venus, in addition, the way to store energy in case of emergency was devised using supercapacitors where these are recharged very quickly

In addition, the way to protect the components to the extreme environment was devised, using porcelain to protect our supercapacitors due to its great amount of temperature protection and using vitrified steel due to its resistance to corrosion and its mechanical resistance.

Space Agency Data

All the info used was from NASA

Hackathon Journey

We learned many things such as the missions that were carried out to try to obtain the necessary information and how the planet's environment behaved

It was a very good experience and we learned about many materials with properties to protect
