Catalyst

High-Level Project Summary

The "catalyst" provides multiple ways of making the most of the materials found in the surface of Venus, with the help of those we are going to implement some of our systems explained below.

Detailed Project Description

Being in a hot temperature of 460 degree celcius, it is nearly not possible to build an energy resource

system for the planet venus, the system should resist the 92 bar pressure and would be a potential

consideration if can make the most of energy from the atmosphere there with being in the “zero-gravity”.

For the design and built I’ve designed an energy system which is divide into couple of parts varying the

size and weight. Let’s have a look at the “Catalyst”, one of the most advanced rover with a powerful

battery system. The above “2-dimensional” figure gives us a raw idea for our next rover + battery. The battery’s

inner most shell consists of a “Tungsten” coating (melting point “3,422 celcius”) making it not possible

to melt on the surface of venus, the outer most shell consists of “molybdenum” with a melting point of

2,623 degree celcius coated with “aerogel” with a melting point of 1200+ degree celcius, the upper most

part consists of a really good hear conductor called “iron alloy” having a melting point of 1,538, the top

layer is then protected by two doors made up of gallium nitride having a 2500 celcius melting point.

The top layer is connected to a thick “heat sink” which will transfer the heat to the “thermal electric

generator” which will convert the heat into electricity flowing it into the batteries. When the batteries will

be charged full a “self-discharge” will occur disconnecting the electricity flow, and the doors of gallium

nitride will be closed until the next battery charge.

The battery is then placed into out “catalyst rover” the area is covered with some high powered fans and

mechanism which will convert the hot air into cold air giving a positive impact towards the energy setup.

At the very back of our “catalyst” is a wind turbine placed with an angle of 95 degree to counter itself

from the destructing winds and converts the energy made by winds into electricity, finally there is an hd

camera placed right in the front of our rover which will take pictures of the surface and will convert it to

3D meshes, then with the help of machine learning tha AI of our rover will predict the obstacles that will

may be faced by our rover. To overcome the battery pressure a vaccum medium will be used. The not

meltable body will be constructed with the sheets and layers of aerogels, niobium and silicon carbide.

CARBON DIOXIDE ENERGY:

According to the resources provided by the NASA we can use CO2 and can convert it into energy,

the figure below as an initial design and prototype of the CO2 plant. In the previous figure it shows an uneven frame coated with thin solare metal sheets which is going to

attract the carbon-dioxide found in the surface of Venus, the filtration chamber will filter out the CO2

and will transfer it into the storage cell, from where after several heat process the CO2 can be used

as an alternate of the “fossil fuels”.

WIND TURBINES:

The wind travelling with a speed of 360 kilometers per hour is enough to make energy from windmills,

the standard sized wind turbines can not maintain the pressure and force, for the use of wind turbines

a special angle would be used that’ll not have the average turbine height, a structural and 2d design

is attached below.

With the help of this special angle the wind turbine will generate a good amount of energy later converted

into electricity, the advantage of thins specific angle makes it thunder and cyclone proof.

CONDENSATION:

The process of condensation allows us to change the states of matter, keeping in mind that there is a cloud

of sulfuric oxide roaming in venus everytime can help us with our process, the process includes a vaccum

to extract the sulfuric oxide in a chamber and with the help of condensation the gaseous state will be turned

into liquid state giving us liters of “battery acid” Sulfuric oxide when cool down turns into “sulfuric acid” also known as “battery water” due to extreme ammount

of sulfuric acid the condensation tower will extract sulfuric oxide and will cool it down to sulfuric acid which is

then supplied to the “energy storage” where anode and cathode layers are already connected making it an energy

plant.

Thermal Power Plant:

With the help of heat we have already made a tank full of fuel for our “catalyst”, doing it on a larger scale requires

a thermal power plant which is going to convert the heat energy into electricity on a wide range by just using a

good conductor on a medium scale, with all of these arrangements for our fuels we are ready to take off to venus.

Space Agency Data

The space agency data was used to make the best product, "Nasa.gov" proved to be the lifeguard as the Planet's information was studies from here and then with the use of AI and Machine Learning this model is proposed.

Hackathon Journey

The Hackathon's journey most favorite past is "brainstorming" where all the young brains gather and exchange ideas. From the name "hackathon" an AI & ML picture was created in my head which is used in the project too, the rover will turn 2D images to 3D in real time and with the help of ML and AI it'll create patterns from the 3D mashes predicting the upcoming surfaces and transfer it to the ISS in form of laser transfer tech.
