OUTFITTING A MARS HABITAT: A 3D PRINT CHALLENGE.

High-Level Project Summary

We have developed furniture options that are suitable for setting up your space house on Mars for one year mission.Since the conditions in space are very strict and only three 3D printers were delivered to us from the earth, our designs contains simplicity and functionality. In our designs, we have masterfully combined plastic, concrete and metal in incredible designs. It is important because without comfort you cannot work well and live your life at all.

Detailed Project Description

Our project shows people that with only three 3D printers you can make all you want but in our case it is a lot of furniture and instruments for one-year-mission on Mars. Also we made an AR app where you can easily watch how our designs looks in your apartment. It helps you to understand how much space you need for furniture. Our dream to get to other planet because people only reach the Moon so how we can see it is possible in theory. Through our project, we want to help humanity reach new heights and we really believe that we can do it. Also we use software named "Blender" for creating 3D models, "Unity" for making our AR app and exactly Google Slides to present our project for you ;)

Hackathon Journey

It was great to take part in such a big competition. We learned a lot of things about Space and especially Mars. Our team was inspired by idea that we can use our skills in that case which is very useful, because colonization of Mars is important for our future. There was some challenges with tools that we use but with our cohesion in team we did it together. We want to thank Ivan Zahorullko for his help with organization and motivation.
