High-Level Project Summary
We make a design to provide a solution for the Curuosity Rover's wheels. To do this, we carry out a design through an exhaustive study, providing a functional, resistant and flexible wheel for all types of environments. Also, we developed a prototype of a multi-tool, which can not only be used for assembling the wheel, but also to provide multiple solutions to problems that arise, maximizing problem-solving resources.

Detailed Project Description
We develop a wheel made up of 3 offset blocks. In each part, it is made up of 18 trapezoids, providing greater resistance, because before any collision, the sides of the trapezoids join with a larger surface, giving more structural solidity. Then, each trapeze has a concave base, providing greater grip on surfaces. Each of these parts are displaced to generate greater traction and joined by 2 cross bolts. Also, we will use a semi-open lid with 6 interlocking columns that gives the structure resistance to torque and flexibility against possible sudden blows. Additionally, these columns are rounded at the ends for ease of assembly.
Also, we developed an implemented multi-tool to increase the possibility of problem solving. In this, a rectangular plate format was used for its greater practicality for storage, transport, use and ease of printing.
For its development, only plastic and metal 3D printers would be used. The concrete printer is 100% free for use in future constructions.
For the development of the project, software tools such as: solidword, rhinoceros and function 360 were used.
Space Agency Data
The previous design of the curuosity rover wheel was used as the basis of the new design, as its stl files and its technical plans for the scales. And the original rim was used where it connects with the rotor to the wheel.
Hackathon Journey
We thought it was a very good experience and that NASA allows us to listen to proposals and provide spaces for development.
