High-Level Project Summary
Mission done in less than 365 days, that’s our project goal to help astronaut finish their job by design tools and furniture to help them work and live in a very difficult atmosphere and feel at home.We designed a small units that can be assembled to create different furniture elements as bed or sofa or chair or desk and disassembled it or reuse it once again With some connectors. As well as some tools that will be printed with 5% Martian regolith and 95% Titanium so that they won't develop cracks while 3D printing. And a greenhouse outside the habitat. We combined the 3 available materials and the 3d printers in each design as needed to save as much as possible for the future.

Detailed Project Description
We used Onshape software program for designing the furniture and tools elements and saved the files as stl format files.
We designed a bed that can be turned to sofa or chair or desk. We also designed tools, a crowbar and a screw driver that will be used to assemble the furniture, as well as a sink and pluming, rover wheel for replacement and a greenhouse to be built by the outside concrete 3D printer.
Combining the 3 different materials in some designs to save materials and get the most of their properties. Also reuse some of the designs for different other furniture and use one design for two like the sink and desk unit.
The 60x35 cm sink will be made from plastic with some metal fastener and the 50cmx2m bed which can be doubled if possible is made from concrete base with screws and snap interchangeable tool shafts & accompanying cushions (soft plastic) as well as shovel with snap connection (plastic or metal).
We hope to make astronauts feel at home and help them finish their very important missions in less than 365 days.
Space Agency Data
We got a great vision from the previous documents about living in the space and how humans can use as small area as they can to save energy, air and all other materials used in furnitures and tools.
Hackathon Journey
It was an amazing experience collaborating with a diverse team from all over the states with different ages and different expertises. Though the being from different places meant that we were all in different time zones, that made it difficult to meet later in the day but we all compromised.
We met for the first time and set up a team joining the Space apps challenge for the first time also, we learned a lot from our mentors and organizers.
We didn't have enough time to do a lot of different ideas but we tried our best to follow the timeline.
We would like to thank all the mentors and the organizers of this event for their help.
