The MEG (Martian energy generator) is a prototypical idea of gaining electrical energy with sufficient supply of wind in Mars. The MEG is designed In a way of it being very sturdy incase of unstoppable climatical situations. The main purpose or the backstory of its development is that energy is a necessity and for a year-long mission the requirement of energy has to be in masses. This Device is set to be portable and having an easy access to gain electrical energy for your desired need.

We used nasa’s open source information available publicly which gave us inspiration ideas. We also got an inspirational idea from the A.I space factory who designed the Marshall homes for the planet mars. After reading the open source public data we figured that gaining electrical energy is a scarce resource and using the sufficient amount of wind available on mars, we came up with the idea of making Martian energy generator (MEG).

Our experiences about the Space apps challenge were great and amazing, especially with the team work we did. We learned the different climates and different environments in the planet mars. We chose this challenge because we wanted to learn more about mars and the challenges of surviving in mars. We started our approach to this challenge by doing intensive research and discussing about the information we got from our research. We did face setbacks and challenges such as the high windspeed and the difficult terrain in mars, but we found solutions with careful consideration and intensive research. I’d like to thank the whole team for their dedication in this project and their hard work that they’ve done.
