3D MARS PRINTER USE

High-Level Project Summary

IntroductionIn order to have most of appropriate tools to survive a one year habitat in Mars can make the following at the appointed printers.The only printer which will be needed to be used a lot is the Plastic 3D printer which will make the most of the components needed for helping tools and constructions.The Metal 3D will be needed to be used to make small hard tools and joint connectors.The Concrete 3D printers will be used to make expansions for research and life accommodation facilities.Life in Mars will be a forever experience which will endeavor new techniques to facilitate old designs. We studied and redesigned modules according particular material on different 3D printers.

Detailed Project Description

Introduction

In order to have most of appropriate tools to survive a one year habitat in Mars can make the following at the appointed printers.

At the Metal 3D printer can be made

Small nails or small metallic tools (spans, hammer head only, bolts, small fixing bolts, small metallic connections for beds tools chairs and other constructions nails etc). To help with the strong assembly of the rest equipment. Those metallic tools will be hard enough to withstand demanding structural pressures.

At the Plastic 3D printer can be made:

1). A nice foldable bench which can be converted to table when needed as the following youtube link FOLDIND TABLE CAN BE MADE IN 3D PRINTER FROM total PLASTIC components at particular dimensions. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-KY95kcwJDo credits to INVENTORINDO FURNITURE with the help of simple metal tools made from metal 3D printer.

2).The foldable bed can use the rover parachute as a cover and the rest of the bed skeleton can be made full of plastic components with joints from metal 3d printer as the following photos.

3). Simple plastic tools used as nails, taps, fixing closures can be made full of plastic like those at the photos demonstrated here.

 

4). A simple wardrobe skeleton with tube components made of plastic and metal connectors can be made at plastic 3D printer like photo demonstrated below.

5). The wheel of the rover can be constructed with Metal Spokes at 3D printer and Plastic Wheels external shell made from Plastic at Plastic 3D printer which can be substituted easily when worn as the following demonstration photo shows.

 

At the Concrete 3D printer can be made:

Building related constructions based on prefab components which need assembly to form larger concrete structures to assist with expanding the landing module facilities. Less effort must be made to form big construction better to aim forming small research facilities and life accommodation modules.
