High-Level Project Summary
Science should be accessible to every individual. We hereby focus on the implementation of open science that empowers the open sharing of data, software, and results recommended by scientists. Along with providing resources, our app will also evaluate the effectiveness of the events conducted by scientists. Traditionally, researchers have been evaluated based on the number of times their work is cited, the types, and the number of journals they get published in. Our app will evaluate the success of any event based on the reviews and achievements of the attendees from the knowledge they get from the events. Through this we can measure the relevance and impact of the research on society.

Detailed Project Description
What exactly does it do?
Every individual has the right to access knowledge. Our app allows scientists to schedule events that will be open to all those who are interested in science. Our app will recommend scientists organize their events on the basis of their location and the attendees' status. Across the world, scientists are moving to make new and old research available to all. Now we need a collaborative culture that enables scientific discovery and champions diversity, inclusion, and equity. Open Science can be that foundation supported by our project. It allows only verified users to access the resources and to participate in various science events. It increases transparency and ensures security. To evaluate the success of events, we are having an impact detection system that enables the attendees to tell others how that particular event or resource helps them. It will evaluate the relevance and its impact on society.
How does it work?
Our app ensures the authentic registration of the user which is further differentiated between scientists and the users. Scientists will create their profiles by adding their names, achievements, social networking profiles, institutions they are associated with, and specialization. In the scientist's section, scientists can create an event. For creating an event at a particular location there are two ways, there is a location recommendation system that on the basis of available attendees and preferred location gives suggestions of the organizations which are best suited for the event. Other than recommendations, they can choose the location by selecting the latitude and longitude. They can schedule their event by adding a date and time.
In the Attendees section, users will register themselves by using their email. They have to create their profile by adding their name, institution, and location. They will land up on the home screen which will depict all the events which are scheduled for a future date. Users can join in any of the events.
The main functionality of our app is that the users can give feedback on the events in which they have participated. They can also submit the achievements they received on the basis of the events they attended or with the help of the resources. Scientists can also see the feed section or community section which can evaluate the success of the event and also helps to indicate its impacts on society.
Scientists can provide the links and resources in their event panel and they can upload their recorded videos so that they can be accessible to all the users.
What benefits does it have?
Scientists can measure the impact of their organized events. Scientists can directly communicate with the young generation after their physical meeting and thus enhance the knowledge of the attendees. Users can easily access all the resources provided by the researchers thus enhancing the real meaning of open science.
SCIENTIST can see success rate of past events
In this part ,scientist has a final record i.e. success rate of event which has been conducted which is came by machine learning algorithm to fetch many data of user who participated in this event like published research paper, any achievement etc.

Hackathon Journey
We are a team of 6 students from the same college. We found this challenge of 'measuring open science' amusing. As we all know, scientists worldwide are doing research and publishing results for the public moving toward the concept of open science and striving to open research and results to all. But there is no specific way to measure the success of open science; its effectiveness, relevance, and impact on society.
So, to deal with this challenge, we came up with a solution of developing an interactive app, with features like a feedback system, providing resources, etc. We all learned a lot of new technologies during this period. From wireframing to hosting the project, it's been an enthusiastic journey for us.
