High-Level Project Summary
My Team Developed A Web App For Private And Public Usage. The Web App Shows The Moon In 3rd Dimensional Perspective, With The Ability To Interact With Every Single Aspect That Is Available On The Website. From Moon Landings To Moonquakes, Everything Is Interactive And Easy Enough For All Viewers. The Web App Solves The Challenge By Showing The Different Moonquakes And Identifying Them, Which Explains The Whole Moonquake Concept Better.Web-App Features:-Amazing Visuals-Interactive 3D Moon-Moon Landings-Different Moonquakes Occurred-Moon Points And Coordinates-Custom Mouse Cursor-About Us Section

Detailed Project Description
Our project combines science with art. On our web page, you will find an interactive 3-D virtual model of the Moon, on which you can choose to filter the following visualizations: Landmarks (Apollo, Luna, Change) and Moonquakes(Deep, Shallow, Artificial). You can also find plots showing the average arrival times of moonquakes waves (P-wave, S-wave) to each Apollo Station (12, 14, 15, 16) relative to the moonquake's exact date of occurence.
You can choose what you want to see through toggle buttons.
By analyzing and simplifying complex data as such, scientists will be able to further their studies of seismic events on the moon and the latter's internal structure, and science enthusiasts can learn in a fun, easy, interactive way!
We Have Developed The Web App Using Javascript Library React.Js , Along With Google Material Ui Components, Three Js To Render The 3D Assets And To Mark Specific Coordinates On The Globe, Data Extracted From NASA Resources Using Python And Collab, The Main Duty Of The App Is To Present An Interactive 3D Model That Show/Hide Different Pinpoints Controlled By The User.
Space Agency Data
NASA Data Sources:
NASA's Planetary Data System (PDS):
Used to:
1. Mark Apollo Stations and all moonquakes occurences (SM, DM, AI) using latitude, longitude, depth, and magnitude on 3D Moon Map.
2. Plot every moonquake's occurence in respect of its date.
Hackathon Journey
Amazing Experience, It's So Much Fun To Work With The Team Live, Especially Considering The Help Of All The Volunteers And The Entertainment Provided With It Was Amazing.
As A Team, We Learned More And More Of How Important The Teamwork Was, With Every Task Being Treated Well Between Each Others. We Saw A Vision Before We Chose This Challenge, We Saw The Application Being Developed And In The Final Process Before We Started, That's Why We Chose It, Beside The Fact That Moonquakes Are Really Interesting, We Found A Creative Twist To It And Began Working On It To Deliver Exactly What We Got to Now. The Team Dedicated Itself To Fight And Deliver Everything Despite All Issues Faced, And Stuff They Didn't Know How To Work With, And We're Very Proud To Have Such An Outcome.
Special Thanks For Antoine Tannous, The Local Lead Who Believed In The Team, Even When It Was Broken Which Motivated All Of Us To Finish It All And Achieve The Impossible.
Another Thanks To Every Member Of My Team: Hadi, The Hardest Worker With Us, Joelle, The Dedicated Candidate And Pierre, The Creative Mind In This, And I, Will Refrain From Saying Anything About Myself.
