Moon Mapper
High-Level Project Summary
Moon mapper was created by us with the idea of an app that allows researchers, space enthusiasts to learn about the moon , and be a tool in the analysis of the moon seismology.As a solution to the challenge , this web application makes the data archives accessible on the internet , allows for information sharing , and visualizes data with Interactive 3D .The user interface is to be intuitive , that users can interact with the moon and view the areas that experience seismic activities.

Detailed Project Description
Moon Mapper is an interactive web application .
Users are shown a 3d moon that they can rotate on it's axis by touch ,mouse movements.
Moon mapper comprises of Technologies such as Threejs , jquery , html , css, javascript , Es6
Space Agency Data
Using a CSV file particularly for the latitude and longitude values to send vertices data for showing circles of where these seismic activities occurred when rendering the moon.
Hackathon Journey
The need for a diverse team is needed, mentoring was precious to us during this journey .
We saw reason to create a workshop within our community to teach STEM and encourage hackathons, and why open source data is necessary to develop solutions.
Without the research of these agencies and astronauts ,this would not have been possible .
