High-Level Project Summary

Scientists used to study earthquakes to understand the internal structure of our planet. Earthquakes studies helped humans to prevent the harm of these quakes and to understand the internal structure, Syncminds will help scientists discover the internal structure of the moon... Our project is moonquakes web app that uses huge and complex data from NASA resources. Syncminds team will use this data to make high-level and advanced data analysis and visualization. It's an easy-to-use web app that will raise global interest in the moon and moonquakes and next moon visits

Detailed Project Description

Syncminds team has the potential to give realistic and scientific solutions (with samples, prototype..) that can be applied directly.


For sure, it's a long term project to be updated in the future. What we got now is a clear vision for the next years, here are the main points of what our project will provide in the future:


-Our software uses a huge and complex data from NASA resources. Syncminds team will use this data to make high level and advanced data analysis and visualization and for sure, experts will benefit from the large data coverage!


-We're planning to give users a pleasure while discovering the moon with Moonquakes web app. A bunch of visuals, 3D models, 3D moon scenes with first person perspective (for each landing site), a metaverse and virtual reality experience using advanced goggles.


-Scientists and researchers interested in the moon and moonquakes struggle with the corrupted data about moonquakes. Syncminds team will collaborate with space agencies to make the best use of data with advanced technologies. we'll go through a complicated process to make efficient data analysis, predictions...

As you see, Syncminds team stands out to help space agencies to discover and revisit the moon.

Space Agency Data

we used all the data of https://pds-geosciences.wustl.edu/lunar/urn-nasa-pds-apollo_seismic_event_catalog/data/ and after lot of researches, we found out the understanding and analyzing these data is hard and needs more time to work on it, so we took some basic data

we used LPX,LPY,LPZ,SPZ , we took stations 12, 14, 15, 16, and we tried to calculate two data main aspects, the types of the moonquakes, and the timeframe for each one of them, and we put them in bar charts and pie charts.

Hackathon Journey

the hackathon provides a lot of experiences and learning potential on the way, it was not an easy to experience pressure , we passed really hard time during hackathon , but we overcomed it and got to a happy ending .
