Nimbus to now: The Past, Present and Future of NASA'S Earth observing missions.

High-Level Project Summary

We developed a presentation of NASA'S Earth observing missions they had started since 1997, and will continue to do in the future. We wrote information about the satellites and what missions they were sent to complete. Most of them were able to successfully gather high-resolution transmitted data that was broadcasted for researchers and were able to study about the impact of what they monitored (the Earth's water levels, the sun's radiation etc). By writing about the satellites and their successful missions, we were able to complete this challenge.

Detailed Project Description

The presentation is a multimedia depiction of how NASA successfully launched satellites to gather certain data, how the technologies advanced overtime and how the Earth observing missions were a resounding success. It is about how the satellites were able to gather data and successfully transmit it to NASA for making a difference in this world.

Space Agency Data

We used data from nasa.gov and National Geographic.

Hackathon Journey

We learned a lot by joining the NASA Space Apps Competition. We learned about climate change, satellites, a ton of new space science terminologies, NASA's missions and how successful they were etc. We decided to make a PowerPoint presentation because it was the most simple and i would like to thank my teammates for being there with me until the end.
