High-Level Project Summary
Firstly, We developed an illustrated magazine called "Adventure Magazine".It's main goal is to simplify complicated scientific topics for children. We hope to open their minds to new ideas and innovation.Parker Solar Probe's story is complex, especially for children. It's hard to understand by just watching a video for example. This led us to develop a project which feeds our young audience knowledge in a way that suits their ageThe implementation of our project will expose children to another world full of adventure and discoveries all while being educational.

Detailed Project Description
"Adventure Magazine" is an illustrated magazine which provides children with educational topics in an entertaining way. To achieve this goal, we thought to create a Facebook page which can act as an online resource that is easily accessible to children of different ages and backgrounds. We can also host events and present our project in schools and sporting clubs.
Our idea was inspired by the different magazines and cartoons we used to read when we were younger. To put our aspirations into action we used Canva, an online graphic design tool.
After planning on making our illustrated magazine, we decided to take our idea a few steps further by making 3D Books, Interactive Games, AR/VR. 3D books would be more immersive since we are telling a story of an adventure in the shape of a hard book which they can see and touch. The next step is would be to make interactive games. This would be targeted for children who can hold a mobile in a safe way with the supervision of their parents. This one would make the children really participate in the adventure by talking with the cartoon characters and going through the adventure with them. This also would enable the children to create their own avatars and go through whichever story they want. We will especially focus on the science, space and technology fields and make more stories for them to help the children grow their interest in these fields. The last step is using AR and VR to make the experience much more realistic and to make the children feel like the world is between their hands.
We want to inspire the children with a lot of stories and adventures and one day, we hope to be the reason someone ran after their interests and made a huge contribution to the universe.

Hackathon Journey
Space Apps is a very useful hackathon that we joined not only for winning the competition but to learn from the whole experience. Joining this competition gave us the chance to learn how to work in a team, how to present and how to give it our all to improve our project and our idea. Through the whole process, we found that we enjoyed the brainstorming phase the most as you can just relax your mind and write down anything that comes to you.
There were several instances where the picture in our mind couldn’t seem to be actually implemented, but by searching, we were able to find the tools we needed, put pen to paper and make our prototype of “Adventure Time”. All those things are soft skills which we believe are the main skills that everyone should learn and improve.
The On The Way To The Sun’s challenge is to deliver the complex story of Parker Solar Probe to children but in a way that they could adapt and learn from. We chose this challenge as we want to help children grow their interests and really achieve their full potential.
We had to be online for hours to work on our idea and while we faced problems with making the video and the presentation, we powered through. We also got the chance to test our project and get feedback from children.
Finally, we want to thank our mentor as he supported us with lots of advice and encouraged us to complete our project.
