Our challenge is to tell the story of the Parker Solar Probe and to try to solve problems facing NASA in outstanding the trip to the Sun.

Detailed Project Description

We made two things:


Presentation: to help people know the story of the probe.


Application: to have more detailed information about the parts of the probe.

Space Agency Data

We used Nasa's information as our main source. In the team's opinion, it is the most trusted website to get facts from.

Hackathon Journey

We used this challenge because going to the Sun is something that requires new technologies. We were trying to help people understand what is this probe about and what is its story. We tried to explain in a simple easy way. We also added the problems that faced NASA while making the Parker Solar Probe.

On the Way to the Sun

On April 28, 2021, during its eighth flyby of the Sun, Parker Solar Probe did what no other human-made object has ever done: it “touched” the Sun—meaning the spacecraft flew through the Sun’s upper atmosphere (the corona) and sampled particles and magnetic fields there. Your challenge is to develop a creative way to tell young audiences the inspiring story of Parker’s record-breaking journey from Earth to the Sun and all the perils it overcame on the way.
