On the way to the sun

High-Level Project Summary

Our team tackled the challenge called “On the way to the Sun”. The challenge involves letting younger generations know the amazing deeds of the scientists who developed and launched the Parker probe satellite. We created a website using Go daddy site. We think that creating a website is the more effective way to attract the attention of younger generations, because Younger generations spend most of their time in electronics. So when we create a website it is more probable they read it than books and studies. We think that this project is very important because it promotes scientific discoveries to younger generation in easy and concise way.

Detailed Project Description

We created a website using google site which is completely free. Since it is easy to do it helps save time while in the same time very useful to younger generations. You simply open the website and read it. One of the benefit is that it helps younger generations use their time properly while in the same time getting new knowledge from it. The other benefit is that since it can be accessed freely many people around the world can read it and get knowledge from it. We as a group are doing it because we hope to motivate younger generations to thrive knowledge related to space challenge.

Hackathon Journey

This journey was truly special. Our feelings were mixed of anxiety, excitement, happiness and proudness. In these two days we learned to be open minded, respectful towards each other and ideas and how to co-operate within a team. The thing that motivated us to choose the challenge is the fact not many people know about what the Parker solar probe did. Especially in our country Ethiopia people didn't know anything. We tried to tackle the challenge by creating a website using go daddy site. We resolved setbacks like disagreements by democratic ways using debates and conversations. We would like to thank Almighty God who watched over us every day. Secondly, we would like to thank our parents for the continuous support they gave each of us. Finally, we would like to thank the NASA space challenge community for the continuous guide they gave us.
