Run To The Sun

High-Level Project Summary

We learned about how did the Parker Solar Probe get so close to the Sun.Parker Solar Probe's spiral trajectory gradually brings it closer to the Sun, and during the last few passes, the spacecraft was consistently within 20 solar radii (93% of Earth's distance from the Sun), theoretically putting it in the position to cross the boundary.

Detailed Project Description

This is a cute and accesible pamphlet for kids. Since this type of pamphlet are on the trend with kids these days, we hope this can help inspire them and inform them about Parker Solar Probe's extraordinary mission and how NASA made it possible. Through this kind of interaction, we would be thrilled if kids can learn from it, instead of a boring old dictionary, I hope they will be excited to learn about Parker in a new and special way, making it fun yet easy for them.

Space Agency Data

We utilized portions of data from NASA to know how close did the Parker Solar Probe get to the Sun, how did Parker Solar Probe not melt , when was Parker Solar Probe launched and what did Parker Solar Probe discover. We researched the history of Parker Solar Probe to create our comics.

Hackathon Journey

NASA Hackathon journey was full of challenges, excitement, and a sense of accomplishment. In the process of project development, many challenges have been encountered. Fortunately, the encouragement of teammates and the enthusiasm to do our best for the Sun and parker solar probe inspire us to face the challenge. When the project development is completed, we are extremely excited about de Parker Solar Probe to "touch" the Sun.
