Orbiting the Unexplored is a website for all audiences, where people can interact. The site will provide people with factual information about the Solar Parker Probe. People will be able to read about the history, design, the difficulties it faced, technical features, the discoveries it made on its path to the sun. We believe that Orbiting the Unexplored will be an important and easy source of information about Space Parker. We want to get people interested about this project and know more about it.
The web page as such, works with multiple options in the screen as a glossary that brings you to different sources from the satellite. This information includes its history, design, trajectory, and even 3D designs to capture more detail.
We want the people to have a simple and fast source. In other words, that they find all the information that they need in only one web site without having to go through multiple. Therefore giving them a solid explanation.
The page is made with CSS, JavaScript and HTML (A languahe of hypertext, based on labels/tags). The program that we used to design this web site was Visual Studio Code.
We used data from Nasa and Madrid Deep Space Communications Complex (MDSCC).
We are in charge of translating the data to Spanish for the page.
It was a very fun experience, To be honest, we did not know much about the Parker Solar Probe until we attempted this challenge. We were able to learn many new things with this journey. What inspired us to choose this challenge was the amazingness that is the Parker Solar Probe. and all the work that was needed to put in, besides the new discoveries that this proyect has taught us. Without a doubt this was amazing. Our team had some setbacks but they were easily solved with good organization and communication in our team.
We would like to thank the mentors that gave us the information, helped us, and the dedication that they have given us.

On April 28, 2021, during its eighth flyby of the Sun, Parker Solar Probe did what no other human-made object has ever done: it “touched” the Sun—meaning the spacecraft flew through the Sun’s upper atmosphere (the corona) and sampled particles and magnetic fields there. Your challenge is to develop a creative way to tell young audiences the inspiring story of Parker’s record-breaking journey from Earth to the Sun and all the perils it overcame on the way.
