High-Level Project Summary
Designing a monitoring system for the ionosphere by the method of reflection of radio waves from its certain layers. By studying the state of the ionosphere, it will be possible to predict the impact of man on nature, as well as to study the effect of the solar wind on the Earth's ionosphere.

Detailed Project Description
Any single board computer can be used for this project. It will be involved in processing all the data and plotting. An additional microcontroller is connected to it, which will control the adjustment of the installation, for its positioning, and set the desired angle at the right time. Using the GPS module, the device will be synchronized in time, and depending on what time of day, turn and tilt the transceivers to the desired angle. Having received the necessary data package, which will be processed through a computer, you can get the results of interest.
The designed system will allow radio amateurs around the world to assemble a cheap device for studying the Earth's ionosphere at home.
Space Agency Data
Some data was taken from open sources in Google.
Hackathon Journey
We sat down with the team to discuss the topic of the project, there were two to choose from: "SPACE SUPERHERO", and "CALLING ALL RADIO ENTHUSIASTS!". The debate was very difficult, but in the end we chose as the topic: "CALLING ALL RADIO ENTHUSIASTS!", because we are real engineers.
