The Team Eismen created a text-based game that sends an explorer to an unknown planet called Planet X. The goal of this game is to highlight the struggles outside the Earth. With harsh conditions as challenges, we aim to show the users as to how they can solve it using adaptations. This may be somehow fictional, with the health modifications, it showcase what we could possibly face if we were to travel on space. Team Eisemen made this in a way that it would be easy for everyone to understand the challenges of space travelling while showing the possible conditions on habitual exoplanets.
The Team Eismen decided to join the challenge, "Build a Space Biology Superhero."
We have decided to create a game that solves the challenge, thus, "Planet X: A Journey to The Unknown." The main goal of this game is to show the players the struggles and challenges of space travel. The players are given a chance to modify their character in such a way that it could withstand the challenges posed by the said game. After their character has been modified, it will now undergo some challenges. Hence, it can enhance the player's ability to make some decisions for survival. This also tells us the harsh conditions outside the Earth.
The team utilized an online IDE in developing the program. Replit is an online software used by the team for coding the game. Python was the chosen coding language for the game. Other open-source libraries like "Rich" were also utilized as references in creating the backbone of the game’s scripts.
The data that we used was mostly from NASA. The one that we really found helpful was the open data from NASA regarding the five hazards of space flight. We were able to incorporate these to our game, and those were the ones that were included in the challenges.
This is our team's first time in joining this hackathon. It was obviously very challenging, and we only had a short time to prepare. However, the Team Eismen believes that this activity allows us to learn more and enhance our skills in programming and creative thinking.
We chose this specific challenge because we found this challenge very intriguing. We also wanted to make our outcome fun; therefore, we decided to push through in creating a game. The time limit was part of our challenge, and it did make things tough for us. However, our team had skills already that are applicable to this challenge. Therefore, we were able to finish this on time.
We would like to thank Sir Eisen Briones for bringing up this opportunity to us and for your insights.

Space exploration involves overcoming numerous challenges: extreme gravity, disrupted sleep and circadian rhythms, limited supplies, and access to medical care, etc. Your challenge is to design a platform that allows users to explore space travel stresses, understand how diverse organisms deal with these stresses, and then build a “Space Biology Superhero” by combining features from these organisms.
