High-Level Project Summary
We have developed a board game which aims to educate people on what specialties an organism should have in order to survive in space. We chose this method because learning while playing a board game is a fun and easy way to learn. It is important to raise awareness about the ideal organism for space conditions in order to increase the studies and researches done on this subject. The board game comes with a user manual that explains how the game is played in a clear, detailed way. The first player to complete all the missions and get the qualifications to live in space, wins the game. We also found solutions to various problems that threatens life in space, we adapted them to our board game.

Detailed Project Description
Firstly, the main reason we chose this topic was we truly idolized Prof. Betül Kaçar (the leader of NASA Astrobiology research team) and we wanted to do something original. Our aim in making this project is to find out how a living thing can best live in space conditions. We developed a game with this information by solving the questions in this category.
Our aim is to entertain and inform our target audience and make more projects and studies about astrobiology. We developed a game based on these information that we found. The main purpose of this game is to take all good feature that will improve our biological character and reach a planet named "Utopia". The planet Utopia represents space conditions. If we explain the gameplay, it is a game played with dice. Players starts from the starting point and try to reach planet Utopia. On the way they collect ATP, H2O, CO2 and gens. They decide which path are they will take. On each path there are stations. Every station is a place for completing one of the missions the player should complete to finish the game.
First station in this game is Water Station. In this station you are supposed to use lipase enzyme and Arbidopsis plant
Second Station in this game is Photosynthesis Station. It helps player to do photosynthesis by using water , carbon dioxide and Arabidopsis
Hackathon Journey
We had a weekend full of study, research, fun and perseverance. In the awareness of responsibility and with the will to success. It gave us an opportunity about combining our creativity with knowledge about space, astrobiology and technology. It helped us to enrich our knowledge of astrobiology in space conditions. Our approaches were making a fun way to draw attention and raise awareness of space biology. We made a diagram about project steps to understand better and easier. We would like to thank powerful women in science that made us interested in this topic.
