ASTRO HACKER THE VIDEOGAME

High-Level Project Summary

We developed a game wicht is a simulation based on a trip to space, there users will face the diferent problems that the astromauts could suffer on their travels. In doing so we want to aproach the user to the NASA enviroment and peak their interest on space related matters in hope of creating a new relationship with people who have never shown interest in the matters.We are triying to design a platform that allows users to explore space travel stresses and learn how NASA is solving them and how they are developing new experiments with diverse organisms for the development of new or better solutions for these problems. From our point is paramount to make it accesible to newcommers and youth

Detailed Project Description

We have created a prototipe of a video game - sumulator, wicht works based on figma, where after beginning your space journey you are presented whit a problem first, and you have to guess the reason of that problem and later presented with some posible solutions hwere you would have too choose the correct one, an din doing so you would continue with your journey.

The proyect provides the user easy and interesting information about the scapes a it´s posible dangers, and doing so we expect to aproach space journeys to people who have never show interest in them or to those who have never cross paths with NASA due to their young age.

As we said before , we are using figma to create an interactive game.

Space Agency Data

The bast mayority of the data that we have used is based on the NASA Human Research Roadmap, but we have also been using NASA Space Biology Program, report on "5 Hazards of Human Spaceflight", the GeneLab Data Repository, from the NASA web, and from the Canadian Space Agency, the CSA Report on Deep-Space Healthcare and "Effects of Space on the Human Body".

Hackathon Journey

Its has been a great experience, not only as an oportunity to participate on a proyect related to NASA but also as a great way to get to now other people and learn from their bast knowledge.

we have learned to utilize new tools and using them to develop an accesible way for people to get to know space related matters, that has been also the reason for picking this proyect, in our opinion to expand the range of people involved in the space comunity would be greatly beneficial for de Space angencies and for those people involved.
