High-Level Project Summary

We, Isaya Tomimuro and Rebecca Nishio have picked this challenge because we were both interested in designing, creating, and researching. In this project, we made 3D models and 2D sketches of our non-humanoid figured hero, descriptions of what they can withstand, journey, project description, resources, and data. Isaya was in charge of making the 3D models as well as participating in the 30-second video, and Rebecca was in charge of the summary, project demo, data, and journey.

Detailed Project Description

On the home page, we added Isaya's 3D images, Rebecca's sketch, details and descriptions of body parts of our creature, factors of space stress, and which organisms are resistant to them. We also added the project summary there, too. We also made a page which includes our journey and project description, as well as the resources used.

Hackathon Journey

We made this project by utilizing Blender (for the 3D images), ibisPaint X (for the 2D image), Google Sites, and Google Slides. We chose this project because, as well as on the home page, we wanted to create and design, and we were interested in researching creatures and mixing them up into a brand new organism. On the first day, Isaya started off working off on his very first model of our hero, and Rebecca started off by adding more details to the rough sketch Isaya drew for his creature. As time progressed, we were close to finishing up the whole project, but left out some of the details of some organisms's body parts to leave more time on the important parts.
