Viro - board game

High-Level Project Summary

We have designed a board game in which you have to subdue strong people(supers) who are able to withstand the risks of spaceflight, but avoid people without abilities. At the end of 5 rounds the virus will pull out one random mission, and its execution depends on the number and quality of "supers". People will explore the environmental stresses of space travel in an interesting, playable way

Detailed Project Description

The project is presented as a board game, aiming to entice even the youngest viewers to explore the realm of space. Extremely simple interface and rules, fascinating plot, summaries of theoretical data, all this induces a genuine interest in players to further play and study the material. Accessibility of the game also expands the range of users, as to play it is not required internet, or something like that. It is enough to print out what has already been downloaded earlier. In the future, digitalization of the project is planned so that it was possible to play on digital devices too. We hope that if our project does not win, then at least encourage people from an early age interest in the knowledge of outer space.

Space Agency Data

We found data that shows the risks to humans in spaceflight. Based on that, we created supers that can overcome certain risks, such as a superpower prevents atrophy of muscles

Hackathon Journey

I learned a lot during the campsite because of the built environment by the organizers, I really enjoyed being there. Thanks to my new team, I learned about new programs and learned a new programming language. It was inspired by the possibilities. We shared roles and worked through the plan that was created. Our team tried different approaches to problems; we learned to look at problems from a very different perspective. I want to thank first of all my team for this environment and experience and secondly one person named Karim who gave me personally a lot of experience and pointed my thoughts in the right direction.
