High-Level Project Summary
We developed a game that is highly informative about the work in progress mission called 'Artemis'. This mission is run by NASA and it is both a suprise and shock to see that most people do not know about it, . Our game includes minigames, riddles and questions that will take your knowledge about this mission to the next level. We combined arts with science via the awesome graphics and soundtrack of this game, combined perfectly by our storywriter and coder. Our game is necessary to educate the public in a fun and interactive way and to show new perspectives that have not been considered in many NASA missions before.

Detailed Project Description
Our project is an interactive visual novel game with the main purpose of educating people about the NASA project Artemis in a different way. We tried to include fun and very creative ideas into our game via the storyline and we tried to present art and music in different ways, taking advantage of the diversity of our team. It works in a way that most visual novels games would work, with a storyline you have to follow but one that you can also change depending on your answers. We believe we delivered the best results under certain circumstances and that you will have fun with this game! Our aim when we created this game was to spread knowledge about such an important mission, one that will provide diversity in space. But as we progressed we realized that the way we reached our goal had started to shift. Our game was to be a tool to reach knowledge, but now we can see that it is also a means of reaching art and music itsself. 3 different artists worked on this game in coordination, yet they kept their artstyles and formed a harmony with the differences of their styles. They used Sketchbook and Krita. On another hand, the music was composed thanks to the hard work of our member, and it is a blessing for ears. It joins the harmony of the artstyles and creates a sight worth seeing! He used Garage Band. Of course, none of this harmony would have been possible if it wasn't for our storywriter, who managed to combine all this and created a website to present this. She used Visual Studio Code. Our coder did an incredible amount of work in a really short time and through his efforts, we are able to present you this game! He used Gamemaker Studio 2 and Google Drive.
Space Agency Data
We used data provided by NASA to complete our project. The data they provided allowed us to learn more about the Artemis mission, which is was main focus throughout this journey. The knowledge we acquired from NASA's data gave us different insights about the project and how we could engage our own imaginations with it.
Hackathon Journey
Overall, it was a stressful yet fun experience! We learned about different kinds of NASA missions and their executions, their aims etc. We chose this project because all of us are fairly confident in their skills which revolve around art and its many different forms. We thought that putting our skills to good use would be beneficial. So, according to our skills we divided the jobs and made sure everyone had a fair amount of work. During this process none of us really had any setbacks or problems and we all worked perfectly. I would like to thank everyone in my team a million times over because the synergy we all share is great and it is so fun working with them.
bonus! a team member created this website however we couldnt get it to work but feel free to check it out!
