Detailed Project Description
We want to make a chatbot in mixed reality that allows astronauts with simple questions to have an iterative experience that clearly explains what the symptoms it presents can be associated with, it currently works with a small website implemented on 8wall that allows us to create the augmented reality application and manage the avatars and animations in a dynamic way adjusted to what the chatbot is doing, in the future we want to connect this system with artificial intelligence models such as openai to generate more realistic dialogues, and add a base broader data set of symptoms and descriptions
Space Agency Data
we rely on how the Performance Readiness Evaluation Tool (PRET) works to create our application
Hackathon Journey
We first wanted to develop it for smart glasses, but since these are not currently available for most people, we opted to use an augmented reality application that can be viewed on the mobile and adapt the browser audio controls to interact with the user. , it was a challenge to implement the chatbot model so that it only works in the browser without external connections, but we were able to achieve it, in the future our goal is to implement it in smart glasses
