Put the A back in STEAM

High-Level Project Summary

In this project, we aimed to show how art is a necessary part of the scientific process. We believe the artistic design of our slides will make people interested in Science. In addition to that, we also created a musical track using one of our favorite songs but changed the lyrics to be relevant to Science. We also created a 3D model of the solar system which we believe is also a fun way to learn about space. It is important to show people, especially children, that the learning process does not need to be boring and can actually be really fun.

Detailed Project Description

Our project is a presentation about the importance of changing STEM to STEAM. We are showing how important it is to consider art when thinking about Science. The two are very important and should work hand in hand. Our presentation is meant to make people want to do science through art. Its benefits are that it is easy to understand and can even be shown to KG kids. The tools we used were Google Slides, Procreate, Shotcut, and our laptops/ipads.
