High-Level Project Summary
My project uses python libraries, including stats and ARIMA, to forecast the water depth in parts of the Mississippi River delta. I used an animated map to show how the depth will change in the period. I also gave details on labels for each point, and provided some basic information on how users can help to save deltas in their community. This will also help scientists to understand where they must give more of their efforts in the place where deltas are more vulnerable to sinking.

Detailed Project Description
My project shows an animated map of the Mississippi River Delta. It gives details on the delta water levels as temperatures increase in the delta. Users may click a button to see the specific water level at a given date in a period of six years, or look at information on the location. This animated map allows anyone to see how the delta is changing over time, and how it may one day be gone.
I used python libraries, HTML and CSS for this project in order to create a link to display the map and the python time series data using ARIMA and a numpy library.
Space Agency Data
I used the Bathymetry dataset for the Mississippi River Delta for this project, to determine the water levels in different locations near the delta, and use this to forecast the water levels of the Mississippi River Delta in the future.
Hackathon Journey
I would say that my Space Apps journey was a great, and at times challenging project. I had fun making the map and writing my code, but at the same time, I felt a great sense of happiness knowing that what I was making may help scientists in NASA, and others throughout the nation and on earth save deltas from their destruction due to climate change. I also feel that working on this project helped me have an impact on my family/community that learned more about deltas and how to help to save them. I would like to thank my community for their support throughout the project, and I think that my project will truly help to save deltas throughout the world.
