High-Level Project Summary

Our project started by introducing people to a very important problem of forest fires as well as agricultural fires. So we have researched and collected a lot of information about this problem, its causes, damages, and solutions.We also talked about the FIREX-AQ project that provides measurements of the gases released in the atmosphere of wildfires. We've shown all of these things in an app to make it easier for people to learn more about wildfires and the FIREX-AQ project and we'll develop it to keep people up to date with what's happening in the environment around them. In addition to creating a website to educate the public in a simple and fun way.

Detailed Project Description

Our mission was to build an application to educate the public about the importance of NASA data, specifically the FIREX-AQ project and a joint British Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration project. and the importance of project da provides us with the measurement of gases emitted in the atmosphere of specific forest fires,In addition to determining what the conditions of this fire are, this project is seeing and tracking the wind poles in the direction of the wind, Let us know the effects of fire-causing chemical transformation and air quality as well.In addition, the FIREX-AQ project improves wildfires and agricultural fires to a small size in size and intensity from other fires.

We made this application through a web site for application work, Jotform. We explained all the need for forest fires and the FIREX-AQ project in the app, and it is worth noting that the app we did is very simplified and structured; to attract The audience read it, and in addition, we made a website where we explained every need in a simplified and interesting way to appreciate the benefit of the public in all possible ways. We used the Jimdo website to make the website after describing how we would like it to be the form and organization of the web, and we used reliable sources besides using NASA sources; To ensure the validity of everything in the project, we will continuously develop the application and website to keep people up to date with what is happening in the environment around them and we will make it accessible to all, We hope that the greatest number of people of different ages will benefit because our project is suitable for everyone because of the use of simple words that are easy to understand. We hope that the greatest number of people will know the importance of forests and how to keep them away from fires. We will face the consequences by adding to their knowledge of the FIREX-AQ project and how NASA is always developing it, and ultimately hoping that the world will become better.

During our research, we relied on NASA sources as an essential factor in addition to some reliable external sources, from which we were able to understand a lot of information in data sets and summarized them in an attractive and streamlined way for the public to benefit from and learn a lot about wildfires and the FIREX-AQ project.

Hackathon Journey

Hackthon's experience has been very wonderful, where we have learned a lot of information and utilization from the project and from the team itself, also we have learned about teamwork and its importance and how to solve the problem together and we have accepted a lot of opinions and criticism and how to solve it with each other and we have learned creativity and perseverance and how to focus on the goal.

It was a fun experience and full of difficulties and the choice of the subject was good and we also collaborated together, we were an integrated team.

We accepted a lot of strange difficulties and ideas and also not easy but we overcome them with creativity, hard work and always helping each other.

I would like to thank the members of the Group for their good cooperation and for their great work and effort to achieve a successful project.
