Detailed Project Description
The team wants to provide key data to more accurately track and project how Earth's polar regions are changing and influencing sea level.
Data from low-flying drones can help scientists measure this changing thickness more accurately as Arctic sea ice fluctuates with the seasons.
Drones are headed toward increasingly accurate projections of how rising sea levels could reshape coastlines around the world and, for more temperate climates, a promising new tool for monitoring wildfires, algal blooms and other vital signs of Earth changes.
NASA satellites have played a key role in detecting how ice sheets have lost mass in recent decades or in detecting the beginnings of forest fires.
A drone equipped with a camera would be used, in addition to using python applications with image processing through the use of convoluted neural networks oriented to artificial vision, a voice assistant module will be used that will notify the results, thus becoming an interface graphic with user interaction
Space Agency Data
The challenge which we have used is from airplane and data earth, the reason is our experience in study about electronic and UVA theory, also well the data from Control Systems.
Hackathon Journey
I think this is an exciting event that NASA organized all over the world at the same time. We learned a lot of data from Nasa and how to create new software and hardware to solve problems about space exploration, art and science. Development the technology, components and the software necessary to improve our ideas and convert into reality is our goal and participate in this Space Apps is incredible and awesome for our experience. This is fun and really productive way to learn about our passion
