High-Level Project Summary
The game is focused on showing the player the wonders that the new James Webb satellite can show us, through immersing the player on the shoes of an employee at NASA, where they were tasked with finding certain stars using the new satellite that they launched, that being the JWST. We thought this was an interesting way to solve the challenge, as it proposed a fun idea for the player, at the same time that we could show them the capacity of taking pictures that the James Web Satellite has.

Detailed Project Description
Our project is a computer game, made using the Unity Engine, coded in C# and with models made using Blender. The game shows Jonny, a made-up NASA employee, right about to send his boss the pictures that the James Webb Satellite just took, as a blackout erases them, and as such, he ends up having to retake those pictures.
The player then has the goal to take pictures of all the made-up stars and supernovae that are on their list, while only being able to see when JWST takes a picture. When this objective is completed, Jonny can then send the pictures back to his boss, ending the game.

This photograph was the basis for our idea, after seeing this photo, did we have in mind what we wanted to show other people, that the universe is beautiful.
Hackathon Journey
Our team ended up being called together right before the challenge started, so we had to work through the challenge of what to do and how to do it extremely fast. That being complete, we could finally work through the project, step by step.
Our idea was to split the main functions with a part of the team, 2 taking care of the coding, 2 taking care of the art and models, and 1 taking care of sound design and implementation. This plan ended up working really well, as each person could work with their specialization, and ended up being one of the reasons why we could develop this project to such a degree in so little time.
Special thanks to our programming teacher, Carla, who spurred us into taking this challenge.
