High-Level Project Summary
Spatium Cards is a strategy and card game. It consists of a 1 vs 1 duel in which each player has a personalized deck of cards which have a rarity level conformed by what type of telescope can observe it, which classifies the power, life or effect that it has. The objective is to reduce the opponent's life points. Both players start with twenty health points and two Quarks that serve as a barter to perform a summoning. The first to play is determined after a coin toss, the winner of this summons first but cannot attack. There are two types of cards, combatant (cost, attack and life) or magic (cost and effect).

Detailed Project Description
Spatium Cards
Target
Disseminate the different types of telescopes and their capabilities, through the use of cards which have a level of rarity which depends on the telescope that has in its upper right corner. It consists of an image of the telescope needed to observe the star, which determines its statistics. It also has a brief description of the star at the bottom.
Throughout the game, different combinations of decks are presented, with different planets, stars, galaxies, nebulae, among others. This diversity contributes to the dissemination of knowledge about the stars, as well as their types, compositions and with what telescope they can be observed.
Mechanics
Game
The game starts with the flip of a coin, the player who gets the right side is the one who starts first, both start with two Quarks to perform the first summoning, the player who starts first can not attack with a combat card but with a magic card, then it's his turn. At the end of the round, the opponent can summon whatever he wants or not, and then pass turn. At the end of this round the player recover one Quark.
Quarks
They are the way to invoke the cards, both players start with two Quarks to use, for each turn one is added to the player to be able to perform the invocations. There are also magic cards which can help you to get Quarks.
Cards
Cards are divided by type and level. The value on the left is the attack value and the value on the right is the life value.
Types
Planets
Composed of gas planets, rocky planets, dwarfs, among others. They have an attack and life, some may have an effect.
Stars
Consisting of neutron stars, red dwarf, orange dwarf, among others. They have an attack and life, some may have an effect or be magic cards.
Black holes
Consisting of static, charged static and charged rotating black holes. They are magic cards and have effects towards planets and stars.
Levels
Cards level 1- Common Telescope
Composed by cards that costs 1 - 2, some combatants have a basic effect or not, an attack and life between 1- 3. The magic cards have the same cost level and a basic effect. Example: Decrease 1 attack on a rocky planet.

This level is made up of cards with a cost between 3-5, some fighters have an intermediate effect or not, an attack and life between 2-6. Magic cards have the same cost and an intermediate effect. Example: Decrease 3 life to a neutron star.

Hackathon Journey
The experience was very nourishing for us, it helped us to consolidate as a team, validate the different opinions of all to go towards the same goal in this case Spetium Cards, each member stands out in a specific area to contribute to the challenge. What inspired us to sign up for the challenge was the nostalgia of having competed last year and winning the challenge of creating a video game in order to spread knowledge of space stars. First we got together to come up with an idea that met the objective of the challenge, we validated it and transformed it into one that we all liked. After that we divided the tasks and got going.
