High-Level Project Summary
Our team has developed an educational game for the younger generation. This game can get people interested in space exploration and shows the beauty of modern technology. The target audience of our game is schoolchildren and students (10-30 years old). The genre of the game: Logic games (puzzles)The problem we are solving: learning in a playful way and explaining how the James Webb telescope works. As well as the development of logical thinking. Why it matters: As technology constantly evolves, the space industry needs more competent engineers. With the help of game learning, we can draw people's attention to space since childhood and explain complex things in simple words.

Detailed Project Description
Our game on mobile phones begins with the fact that we find ourselves in space against the background of the Earth. A pop-up window appears with information about the game and scientific data about the James Webb Telescope. This game consists in collecting a telescope from 7 modules. Each module can be bought for coins. To earn these coins, you need to complete puzzles that depict different telescopes. As you progress in the game, the difficulty level increases. Each module is purchased separately, when buying a module there is information about it. When assembling the entire telescope, a congratulatory text and brief information about James Webb appear, as well as pictures comparing it with other telescopes.
Models of the Earth and the James Webb telescope were modeled for this game in Blender 3D. Unity game engine and C# programming language were used in the development.

Hackathon Journey
The KERNEL team consists of six people 4 developers, a 3d designer, and an engineer. Our team began to work actively only on 10/01/22, so unfortunately we did not have time to finalize the details. It was a great experience, we didn't sleep for two days but pumped our hard skills. We modeled and coded many things for the first time. Three members of our team were writing in Unity for the first time.
