High-Level Project Summary
Our project is a game. The major goal of our initiative is to increase public interest in space by showcasing the incredible potential of the James Webb Space Telescope. JWST is a highly effective tool and we think that every human should know how much of a technological marvel it is. Detailed Project Description
There are two components to our game. Players will have the chance to converse with JWST during the game's opening act to learn more about it. Additional specifically, the James Webb Virtual Telescope will provide more information about itself and display images that it captured while in space. Players will have a general notion about JWST's capabilities after the first half of the game.
Thus, participants will be allowed to participate in a special quiz in the second half where they will be shown numerous images captured by various telescopes and asked to select the image that was captured by the James Webb Space Telescope. The game teaches players about the capabilities of the James Webb Space Telescope in a fun, more precise, and virtual way. We hope to develop an enjoyable game which will capture the interests of many people.
Space Agency Data
We used resources that were provided to us on the challenge site. We used multimedia gallery of images depicting the JWST project's current state and related outreach activities, as well as its history of development.
Hackathon Journey
Our Space app experience was challenging. We learned to cooperate with each other better and share our ideas freely. We chose this challenge because we were previously interested in JWST . This particular challenge, compared to others, was closest to our skills. When we needed help we contacted our mentors and teachers from school.
