High-Level Project Summary

Deciding for high school youth is an issue, along with the exploration of STEAM. When the moment of decision arrives, the related courses are not chosen, affecting the market need. In addition, there are universities that offer courses and NASA that needs specialized professionals. The journey of a university-going user experience, knowledge is an experience experience in James Webb. After that, he receives 3 stamps: 1 for the game, where he makes a registration (read), inviting him to participate in the NASA internship selection highlighted by journey.

Detailed Project Description

Spark students' interest in astronomy with a game on Jame Webb's telescope moving potential talent into the STEAM market. In addition, it connects students from schools to universities and to the NASA talent pool that would be a partner in the project. We used the image bank data provided by NASA, the Spitzer Space Telescope Infrared Images, the Wide-Field Infrared Survey Explorer (WISE) point propagation function to produce and develop the application prototype, bringing references to the James Webb, including the mirrors and shield present in the telescope, turning to show the differentials of James Webb in relation to the predecessor Sptzer and its complementary function with Hubble.

Space Agency Data

We used the image banks provided by NASA, together with the infrared images from the Spitzer Space Telescope and the Wide-Field Infrared Survey Explorer (WISE) point propagation function to develop the prototype of the game with references to the characteristics of the James webb telescope, highlighting the functionality of your mirrors and shields. Highlighting the elements of comparison of the results of Hubble, Sptzer and James Webb himself.

Hackathon Journey

We had a unique experience with new visions and technologies that expanded our knowledge. With the event we can get a sense of technological elements that we didn't know and learn new uses of programming and development language. Our team was inspired by the challenge by the opportunity to design an app with James Webb's element, where we address the side of encouraging and teaching students who will enter colleges about the academic astronomical environment to bring more professionals to the area. We would like to thank the monitors who, in addition to supporting us in the development of the event, encouraged us to finish and finalize the whole experience.
